Originally started in California, the chain today counts over 40 locations across the US. All stores are being equipped with a Volumental solution.



Wintersteiger, with its brand BootDoc, is a large global provider of ski boot insoles selling to stores across the northern hemisphere. Bauer is the world's largest provider of hockey equipment and has a 70% global market share of hockey skates. Volumental originally built a proprietary skate fitting engine for Bauer, providing not only detailed insights into the customer's foot metrics, but specific skate recommendations in both model and size. The “Skate Lab” 3D scanner and skate model recommendation engine is available in hockey retail stores around the world.  In Summer 2018, Volumental helped Bauer pioneer individually customized skates available to players of all ages and abilities.
